A: No, there is no contract to be signed, it’s a “pay as you go” subscription - there are no long-term commitments required.

Q: Is it legal to collect and publish online Promotional Emails, Twitters and Blogs?
A: Yes, it’s entirely legal because email campaign/promotional messages (as opposed to private emails), Twitters and blogs are all in the public domain, freely accessible to everyone

A: Our current research is focused on top global and regional brands and leading market sector organisations with operations in the UK, Ireland and North America. Next year we will be providing users with access to additional key countries in regions across EMEA and Asia-Pacific for more in-depth analysis and comparison
Q: What types of brands and companies do you research?
A: Not all companies, brands and organisations provide email, twitter or blog sign-ups and most marketers are not that interested in analysing and comparing email messages from one-man-band companies, so we focus our in-depth research on the leading brands and companies from key market sectors across the world. We start by focusing on the top 100, 250, 500 from each market sector and then research smaller companies and brands when it makes sense. We also build speciality categories like the Fortune 1000 global companies, Footsie 500, top 100 global brands, top 100 software companies, top 20 political parties, top 50 fastest growing companies, top 50 eRetailers and reseller channel and franchise networks etc.
Q: How do we research and collect email marketing messages?
A: We use three strategies:
  • Firstly, we use our ‘Email Marketing Message User Panel’ who forward to us specific industry/brand messages from their own personal email in-boxes. In return we reward them with pre-release thought-leadership email marketing reports, stats and prize draw incentives. We carry out this research every single working day of the month, targeting leading companies and brands in English-speaking countries
  • Thirdly, subscribers of InboxVision can seed their own email marketing lists using an email address we provide, so that it is easy for their marketing team to monitor, compare and analyse their own email marketing campaigns against their competitors. All email messages inside InboxVision are made available to every subscriber
Q: Are there any partnership or affiliate options?
A: Yes, there are five options in addition to our “Refer & Reward” programme: Affiliate Partner; Referral Partner; Membership Partner; Agency Reseller Partner (White Label); and Integration Partners (API) - coming soon
Q: Do I have to download software onto my PC or company network?
A: No, Analyser is an online, web-based system, requiring no software to be installed
Q: How do users access the information?
A: Users have instant online access via the web to the complete InboxVision database, including email creatives, contact information, subject lines, comparisons, reports, stats, and much much more
Q: Is there any software that has to be downloaded and installed on my computer and my colleagues’ computers?
A: There is no software to be installed – Analyser is accessed via the internet, using a username and password

We start by focusing on the top 500 from each market sector and then research smaller companies and brands when it makes sense or when we have be requested to by a client. We also build and research speciality vertical categories like the Fortune 1000 global companies, Footsie 500, top 100 global brands, top global 500 software companies, top 20 political parties, top 50 fastest growing companies, top 250 technology companies, top 50 automotive companies. Q: What if I can’t find the brands or companies that I want to track, compare or analyse?
A: Tell us and we will do the research - we’re constantly researching and looking at new market sectors and vertical lists based on client feedback. As part of our commitment and guarantee to provide a quality email marketing intelligence service, once you subscribe to any of our services, if you find that we don't have some of the brands or companies you want to track, compare or analyse, you can fill in our online web form and request as many brands and companies as you like, and we will do all the leg-work and research and sign up to their emarketing communications (email, Twitter, blog) where they are available or inform our panellists that we want emails from these companies and brands. We do not charge our customers for this service and we will keep you updated with how many of your companies we have researched and can track and monitor. This process is totally free and we normally complete the research within 90 working days. All email data/messages inside InboxVision are made available to every subscriber
Q: How do we process and analyse email messages?
A: We’ve partnered with leading best of breed content analysis software providers that automatically analyses and segments 90% of the email content. We’ve also established a massive in-house development programme to build complex routines to help segment and analyse key components of incoming email messages, twitters and blogs. The results of this analysis are fed into our database to provide quality emarketing intelligence that will empower our customers to make informed decisions and provide justification of their emarketing strategies. We then have a team of analysis who eye ball and carry out quality checks of email messages to make sure the majority of email messages have been classified and segmented correctly.
