national campaign to raise awareness of hospice care, which runs from 8th to 14th October.Everyone is invited to come and find out about all the work we do, in the community as well as in the hospice
buildings. Weldmar staff will be there to talk to you about how we support not just patients but also their families, and how we make the care individual to each patient. There will also be
opportunities to find out how to support Weldmar, whether by donating, volunteering or fundraising. We know hospice care has different associations for different people – positive, challenging
and sometimes very surprising. You may be surprised at the variety and diversity of our work supporting patients, their families and special friends.Read more about Weldmar's Open Day  Get

who have sadly died. Our Light up a Life Services provide you and your family with the opportunity to reflect and remember someone special. Many people find that sponsoring a light is a positive way to
remember whilst at the same time helping Weldmar Hospicecare Trust continue to provide vital support to our patients and their families in their time of need, whether they require care in their own
homes, in the community, in our Day Care Hospices or as in-patients at Joseph Weld Hospice. This year, we will have six trees - each of which will be illuminated with hundreds of tiny white lights -
each light representing treasured memories.Read more about the Light up a Life Services and how to dedicate lights  Patients' Garden AppealPatients attending Joseph Weld Hospice for the day
now have a lovely new centre - the ‘John Greener Garden Room’ - to enjoy thanks to a grant from the government. We also wanted to transform the outdoor space around the centre into a patio
garden where patients can relax, try out new ways of gardening (which they can use at home if they want) and enjoy creative gardening with others. We needed to put in accessible planters, shading, a
good and safe hard surface and of course lots of beautiful plants. In addition we to want to be able to use plants and gardening material throughout the year so that patients can enjoy the therapeutic
benefits of gardening whenever they come to the centre. Can you help us?Read more about our Garden Appeal  Christmas with WeldmarHave you started yourChristmas shopping yet? Will you be
