This John Lewis email ticks all the boxes

I’m so impressed by this email that I’ve put it in my email design Hall of Fame. The subject line is “Watch our new TV ad and find gifts you can’t wait to give“. It’s a “fully joined-up” email working in conjunction with a very clever TV commercial. I found their email from searching through InboxVision’s “be inspired” Email Collections Gallery, a small extract from their Email Intelligence database of a million promotional emails & newsletter templates.

Thomas Cook – how not to do emails

Posted in B2C, Hall of Shame, Tourism & Leisure, Travel

It’s really no surprise that Thomas Cook is on its knees

As I’m sure you’ve heard, Thomas Cook is on the verge of bankrupcy. Having seen their recent email campaigns, this news is no surprise to me. Everyone loves a discount

I like this email from Spartoo simply because the subject line is so direct: “Insider Offer: 15% discount on your Nike shoes at SPARTOO.CO.UK!”

I’ve selected the email from InboxVision’s “be inspired” Email Gallery, a small extract from their Email Intelligence database of a million promotional & newsletter emails.

Use these eight simple steps to produce more effective B2B emails

I’ve been involved in email maketing for many years now and I’ve watched it develop from a very crude beginning to where it is now – one of the major marketing spends for most companies.
