Your sender score can be a lot like a credit rating, some bad moves on your part and recovering your reputation quickly can be a real challenge. In many cases sender scores are calculated on a 30 day average, so understanding your sending reputation and the pitfalls will help ensure your emails get to the inbox.

Father’s Day Email Analysis

With Father’s Day fast approaching (June 17th!) we decided to delve into our Email Gallery and pick out a great Father’s Day email to showcase and explain on why the email has worked so well.

This email is from the company NotOnTheHighStreet.com. The subject line: “Tell your dad he’s your hero” is a great subject line as it is short, to the point and holds a positive message. The use of clever copy and scribble aesthetic to some of the headings and imagery creates a nostalgic and generally hear-warming feel to the email.

Apple Inc. wins the InboxVision Email Gallery Design of the Week Award

With just 3 weeks until Fathers day, Apple have timed this campaign perfectly and combining the Fathers day into the subject line is something that would rarely be ignored or trashed. The title within the email “Show Dad you know what’s best” is not quite what you’d usually expect as an email title, but is unique enough to draw you in.
