Email is the most used, most valuable internet marketing tool

According to a recent survey* 188 billion emails are sent out every day. Next up are 3.3 billon searches and 1 billion Google+ items shared daily. By way of contrast, “only” 140 million Tweets and 60 million Facebook updates are sent out. The total number of daily emails is greater than Twitter, Facebook, searches and Google sharing activities all added together!
