The Petplan email ticks all the boxes. I really like the simple yet stylish layout and general design. The subject line is: “4 Great Reasons to Insure with Petplan”. This is excellent – it’s very up-front and intriguing! The Petplan email is a worthy winner.

Keep your holiday cover emails on the straight and narrow
Insurance emails need to be to-the-point, but attractive, easy-to-the-eye and easy-to-use. I’ve chosen an email from MoneySupermarket to critique – it displays most of these characteristics.

Financial emails don’t need to be depressing
We may be on the verge of a worldwide economic collapse, but that’s no reason for Financial emails to look drab and uninteresting! They should use best-of-breed ideas from other market sectors, making them visually interesting and easy-to-use. What’s needed is “email marketing design intelligence”.
