Apple Inc. wins the InboxVision Email Gallery Design of the Week Award
With just 3 weeks until Fathers day, Apple have timed this campaign perfectly and combining the Fathers day into the subject line is something that would rarely be ignored or trashed. The title within the email “Show Dad you know what’s best” is not quite what you’d usually expect as an email title, but is unique enough to draw you in.

Compassion UK Chrisitian Child Development wins the InboxVision Email Gallery Design of the Week Award (Controversially)
This Compassion UK email is an excellent example of how to hit all bases in terms of design, well… pretty much! Unfortunately this email hasn’t been optimised for all browsers and has been received disjointed due to border settings on the linked images and setting correct widths for tables, let’s look at the top 6 reasons that made it this week’s winner:
John Lewis enters the Hall of Fame

This John Lewis email ticks all the boxes
I’m so impressed by this email that I’ve put it in my email design Hall of Fame. The subject line is “Watch our new TV ad and find gifts you can’t wait to give“. It’s a “fully joined-up” email working in conjunction with a very clever TV commercial. I found their email from searching through InboxVision’s “be inspired” Email Collections Gallery, a small extract from their Email Intelligence database of a million promotional emails & newsletter templates.
