How about this for a Christmas prize draw – offer it each and every day for 24 days!
I chose this Christmas email from HomeAway Holiday Rentals because of its innovative Christmas campaign, offering a prize draw every day for 24 days. It’s very “sticky” and makes a great list-building tool and sales generator. Here’s the subject line: “Play to win cameras, vouchers, hampers and more every day“. Brilliant!

Why not “count down” the days left to Christmas in your emails
I chose this Christmas email from Donington Manor Hotel because it’s a great example of how to “count down” to Christmas, or in their case, they actually use an Advent-type “count up” idea, as every new day gets closer and closer to December 25th. Here’s their December 3rd subject line: “The Finesse Collection Advent Calendar: Day 3“.
