From this selection of emails it is clear to see that the products on offer change depending on age. Emails that are offering back to school deals are designed in a more playful manner with more focus on illustrations. The chalkboard effect is particularly popular when it comes to designing back to school emails, although we’d recommend maybe thinking of something a little less obvious to surprise your readers and stand out. The main products on offer in back to school emails are the general lunchbox, backpack, stationery etc.

When it comes to back to college emails, the designs are still playful, but take on a slightly more formal look, expressing the benefits of the product as essential for study in the copy. The products on offer here are mostly electronics such as smart phones and tablets, depicting a modern “techy” lifestyle.
