Now-a-days this seems to be a bit of a clichéd or out of date question, companies big and small are all using email marketing. In today’s infographic we’ve found some data presenting the measured success of email marketing. The data in this post we must admit isn’t the freshest we’ve seen, but we know for a fact from a recent DMA report that email expenditure is still expected to grow. One of our favourite points in today’s post included how small businesses are using their email marketing and what offers they include. Unfortunately there is not a direct comparison between both large and small businesses, which might have been useful for some of you to see what “the big boys” are up to. What we really did love were the positive figures about the remarkable ROI of email marketing compared to that of direct marketing.
Another point to take away from this infographic is that from a “Jupiter Research Survey” consumers have revealed that the text within your emails should be a key email design element. This is then closely followed by subject lines and images, large or small are a fairly low priority. So make sure you keeps your recipients from snoozing.
